Our Recommendations in London

On the Bab - Korean Restaurant - €

36 Wellington Street

For fans of street food and culinary discoveries, our big London crush is a tiny Korean restaurant in Covent Garden. Always filled and no reservations taken. We advise arriving early: 12.00 for lunch and 18.00 for dinner. Do not be scared if there is a line at the entrance, the service is fast, you will not wait long. Be careful, everyone in your party must be present before you can get a table, even if you’re first in line. Note to latecomers!

Our recommendations:

• Korean Fried Chicken (a medium dish for 3 people as a starter, you can choose 2 sauces)

• On the Rice (sticky rice, Korean cabbage salad and a protein of your choice, all covered with their delicious orange sauce)

• On the Bun Crab Softshell (a bun stuffed with soft-shelled crab, yes yes you eat it all).

Nando's - Portuguese Restaurant - €

https://www.nandos.co.uk/

For a hearty lunch, well spiced and cheap, we recommend Nando's, a chain of Portuguese restaurants. It's simple, they only serve chicken in all its forms: salad, hamburger, roast, with or without bones, etc. You choose. You'll find it at every street corner in London, it's convenient. For the newcomers to the London system, Nando's is one of those chain restaurants where you are taken to your table by the waiter and given the menu, you make your choice and then you go to the counter to place your order (don’t forget to memorise your table number as you’ll be asked at the counter). The waiter will then bring you your dishes to the table. Soft drinks are bottomless and self-service. For those who do not like the spice, we recommend Mango & Lime sauce. The only downside is that the desserts are not as good as the dishes. Instead, get yourself a cupcake at Lola's Cupcakes or Primrose Bakery.

Primrose Bakery – Cupcakes - €

42 Tavistock Street

You will find the best cupcakes in London. We recommend the Red Velvet.

Sticks n 'Sushi - Japanese and Danish Fusion Restaurant - €€€

https://www.sticksnsushi.co.uk/

11 Henrietta Street

As the name suggests, you will eat sushi there. Out of the ordinary, the best you have tasted but the price is accordingly. Perfect if you have something to celebrate or if a light lunch at 15 € per person suits you. Book in advance to make sure you get a table.

Frenchie Covent Garden - French Restaurant - €€€€

https://www.frenchiecoventgarden.com/

16 Henrietta Street

Close to Sticks n 'Sushi, you have the wonderful Frenchie Covent Garden, a French gastro restaurant in an art deco atmosphere. The tasting menu is a killer, it is impossible to be disappointed even if you become a regular. The only thing that will never change on the menu (in any case, we all hope) will be the appetizer of brioche bread with bacon and maple syrup. Do not forget to taste the orange wine! It is advisable to book at least 2 weeks in advance, if not a month before if you want to go during the weekend. You will need a credit card to guarantee the table when booking. Pure English policy of good restaurants.
