#4 – Chapeau de Paille, Saint Rémy de Provence

Chapeau de Paille was the most peculiar restaurant we tried in Provence. A team of crazy young men, fond of old French songs created an authentic atmosphere in this small restaurant in Saint Rémy de Provence. The food is delicious and bold. I loved the Pastis-flamed quail with roasted peaches, rosemary and thyme. I promise you a very pleasant evening.

#5 – Hotel de Tourrel, Saint Rémy de Provence

One-starred Michelin restaurant at Hotel de Tourrel is definitely the perfect place for fine dining in Provence. With green velvet chairs, brass tables and huge mirrors hanging around the room, it creates a very posh and intimate atmosphere, really nice for a romantic evening. Food was great, service as well. Menu is changing regularly. Good value for money.

#6 – Le Clos de Roses, Fréjus

Always our favourite restaurant in the South of France. The food is always amazing and I love the open kitchen that you can see from their beautiful terrasse. They also make their own wine, and are known for their rosé. Very fresh. They also make high-end wines available in limited quantities. The restaurant and vineyard are located in a 4-star hotel from The Collectionneurs hotels.
